The Lady Trojans, who had won the pre-season tournament the year before, held a 16-point lead at the end of the third quarter and the Lady Gators cut it to seven late in the fourth. Competing in the Georgia Independent Scholastic Association, Bulloch Academy has a solid athletic program which gets the most out of the little it has. Football, basketball and baseball are usually playoff contenders while the track and field team recently swept the Class AA state titles.
